Karin Velasco is a San Diego based Fine Art Photographer with an old soul. Her passion for photography and fine art started at a young age finding nspiration from surrealism and contemporaries. She is a third-generation photographer led by the early passing of her grandfather. As a graduate of the Academy of Art University Bachelors of Fine Art, her work crosses between film and digital. Her photography expresses a dreamlike state with vibrant and skewed colors. She primarily photographs her closest friends and family to have a deepening connection and intimacy. Her concepts emphasize self-reliance, memory, and abstraction.
